SENNI ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Jilla Ventures, Chennai, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the SENNI application and related services.

This policy is compliant with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. What data we collect

When you use SENNI, we collect and process the following information:

Account information: Business name, owner name, phone number, email address
Voice messages: Audio recordings you send to SENNI
Text entries: Messages, notes, and journal entries you type or send
Photos: Images of bills, receipts, and other business documents you share
Business data: Google Maps business data (if linked), transaction records, customer details, and other information extracted from your messages
Journal entries: All entries you create within SENNI
Usage data: How you interact with the service, feature usage, session information

2. How we use your data

We use your data to:

Provide AI-powered analysis of your business information
Generate daily summaries and briefings
Track transactions, payments, and receivables
Send reminders and follow-up notifications
Improve the accuracy and quality of our AI models and service
Respond to your queries about your business data

3. AI processing

Your data is processed by artificial intelligence models to provide SENNI's features. We use the following third-party AI services:

Claude by Anthropic — for text analysis, summarization, and business insights
Gemini by Google — for voice transcription and multimodal processing

These are third-party AI services. Data sent to these services is processed according to their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We do not share your data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the SENNI service.

5. Voice data

Voice messages you send to SENNI are transcribed by AI and stored as text. The original audio files are stored temporarily for processing and may be retained for a limited period to improve transcription accuracy. Transcribed text is stored as part of your business journal.

6. Photos

Photos of bills, receipts, and documents you share with SENNI are analyzed by AI to extract relevant business information. Photos are stored securely and are accessible only to you through your SENNI account.

7. No selling of data

We do not sell your personal data or business data to anyone. Ever. Your data is yours.

8. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you terminate your account, your data will be deleted within 90 days of account termination. Some data may be retained longer if required by law.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable Indian law, you have the right to:

Access your data: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
Data export: Request your data in a machine-readable format
Request deletion: Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
Withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent for data processing at any time (this may affect service availability)
Correct inaccuracies: Request correction of any inaccurate personal data
Nominate: Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity

10. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session management and authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will notify you through the SENNI app and/or Telegram. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
